How to Request MD Connect Support

Body

Overview

Requests for MD Connect Workday support can be done thru the Client Portal Homepage.  Access to open a support ticket with MD Connect is limited to specific campus functional teams and users that support Workday at one of the 5 MD Connect campuses.  Most Workday end users will need to request Workday Support through their local campus support teams and Help Desks.  If those teams encounter an issue they cannot resolve, they will open a case with MD Connect support thru this Portal site, which will be routed to an appropriate support team.

How to Access the Portal and Request Support
  1. If you have been granted MD Connect Portal access as a campus client, navigate to the Client Portal at https://usmd.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/LoginTDAuth.aspx
  2. Sign In in with your campus email address and Portal credentials (only campus Workday support teams have access to submit requests)
    1. If you receive errors logging in after referencing a link to a ticket, try clicking the above link to sign-in first, or click "Sign In" on the top right of the landing page then sign-in with the Portal credentials sent to you by MD Connect.  Portal account credentials are separate from campus SSO.  If you need a portal password reset, contact cjwinger@usmd.edu.
  3. On the Client Portal home page, click the button for the type of support you are requesting, and complete the form.  If prompted, sign in using your account credentials.

  4. When completing the form, provide as much detail as possible.  Required fields have an asterisk (*) next to them.
  5. At the bottom of the form, click "Submit" and your request will be routed to our support team.
Submitted tickets can be viewed in the Portal - see details below:

How To View and Update MDC Tickets in the Portal - shows how to use the Portal to add attachments to and search for tickets, add comments, and other guidance.

Tickets will also generate emails that can be replied to in order to communicate with MD Connect support teams.
