The Business Assets Workday Training Pathway is intended to support employees by providing an overview of several assets-related processes, tasks, and actions. To enroll in this Pathway on Workday Learning:
- Navigate to the Business Assets Training Pathway program.
- Select Enroll.
Note: All prior completion of lessons and courses count toward requirements for completing this program, but you may re-access all completed training as desired.
Materials in this training pathway include the following step-by-step instructions of several commonly used processes via the following job aids:
- Asset Registration
Explains how to register, assign, update useful life, and reclassify assets. Users with the Accounting Operations Lead, Business Asset Accountant, and Business Asset Tracking Specialist roles can register assets. Assign Asset Accounting can update useful life, and reclassify an asset can be done by users with the Accounting Operations Lead and Business Asset Accountant roles.
- Business Asset Events
Explains how Business Asset Accountants, Business Asset Tracking Specialist, and Accounting Operations Leads can adjust asset cost, apply impairment, and adjust in service date for business assets.
- Asset Transfer, Disposal, & Reinstatement
Explains how those holding the security role of Accounting Operations Lead, Business Asset Accountant, and Business Asset Tracking Specialist transfer, dispose, share, and reinstate assets.
