Workday Training Pathways: Procurement

The Procurement Workday Training Pathway is intended to support employees by providing an overview of several Procurement-related processes, tasks, and actions. To enroll in this Pathway on Workday Learning:

  1. Navigate to the Procurement Training Pathway program.
  2. Select Enroll. 

Note: All prior completion of lessons and courses count toward requirements for completing this program, but you may re-access all completed training as desired.

Materials in this training pathway include the following Computer-Based Training (CBT) video series:

  • Receipt and Requisition Events – overview on how to create and edit receipts and requisition sourcing.
  • Edit Purchase Order and Change Order – overview on how to edit a purchase order, and create a change order.
  • P-Card Transaction Verification – explains how employees can verify their P-Card transactions.

The training pathway program also includes step-by-step instructions of several commonly used processes via the following job aids:

  • Procurement Events
    Explains how the Accounting Operations Lead and Procurement Operations Lead can conduct tasks such as reopen procurement document events such as Mass Reopen Procurement Documents, Reopen Purchase Orders, Reopen Requisitions, and Procurement Roll Forward.
  • Requisition Event (Creating a Requisition)
    Explains how Requesters can create a requisition to procure goods and/or services.
  • Requisition Sourcing Event
    Explains how Buyers can source requisitions.

    Explains how Receivers can create, adjust, and cancel receipts. This job aid is also applicable to Requesters.
  • Updating the Assigned Buyer for a Requisition
